– So once we perform the facelift, generally what happens is that on the operating table we will put a bandage across and depending upon how what kind of facelift you had what extent and degree of surgery has been done, the facelift bandage will stay on your face for three to five days, you will be given a full post operative pack including my telephone number four other phone numbers to call us if there was any problems.

I will go through the post operative pack before your discharge explaining what you need to do.

Generally speaking, three to five days later the bandage comes off and you shower and you wash, and then I advise you to take a shower every single day generally with something soft such as a baby shampoo or zero percent Sanex. Use a dryer to dry your wounds.

They take between 7 to 10 days to heal properly. So you wash and dry, put your head down and just start leading a normal life. If you have a little bit of bruising, if you bit conscious, you can put a scarf around and save your wound you can actually do the makeup on your face as well and go out and just be totally normal.

In the evenings and at nighttime when you’re sleeping will provide you an extra bandage an extra garment with paddings, which you put on so that when you’re sleeping, you’re not rubbing against the pillow.

So practically speaking, let’s say you’re a person who works from home, on a computer, literally the next day or two days later, you can start your work. You are on other extreme, you’re a person who goes out to work and has face to face meetings. I would generally say 10 to 14 days, so to be on the safe side, two weeks from surgery, you should be able to do that.
